Bulgaria’s Football Glory Remembered at Central Park Burgas
November 17, 2025
Iconic kits, golden memories and legendary guests marked the “For the First Time Together” exhibition
From November 17 to 22, 2025, TriA Space in Central Park Burgas hosted the unforgettable exhibition “For the First Time Together: The Legendary Kits of Bulgaria” – a tribute to the heroes, matches and moments that shaped Bulgaria’s football legacy.
The opening ceremony welcomed iconic figures from the world of Bulgarian sports. Among them was Zlatko Yankov, who shared heartfelt memories from the historic win against France at Parc des Princes, the USA ‘94 campaign and the golden years of national pride. Other notable attendees included Hristo Portochanov, Stoycho Skaliev and respected names from the local and national football scene.
Visitors saw, many for the first time, the jersey of Hristo Bonev from the 1974 World Cup, a ticket from the legendary 1993 match signed by Emil Kostadinov himself, and jerseys from USA ‘94 – worn by Yordan Lechkov, Nasko Sirakov and Petar Hubchev. Also displayed were Krassimir Balakov’s boots from the historic tournament, Dimitar Berbatov’s Man United match boots, and the preserved 1966 World Cup travel bag of Dinko Dermendzhiev.
Curated from the Bulgarian Football Shirts collection, the exhibition was not just a display, but a celebration of national identity, passion and history – proudly hosted by Central Park Burgas.
